Walton Arts Center Gets $2.8 Million Grant

A $2.8 million grant from the Walton Family Foundation to the Walton Arts Center this month may be the biggest grant to an arts organization specifically earmarked for programming. Terri Trotter, vice president of communications for the center, said she can’t find a comparable grant dedicated to arts programming.
The funding will allow the WAC to bring in the production of “Miss Saigon” and the Dance Theatre of Harlem next year, she said.
