Forty Under 40: Ramona Hall
Between her two hot-rods and her home restoration project, Ramona Hall, 36, finds time to crunch numbers.
Serving as the secretary-treasurer of Delp Inc., Hall enjoys the diversity and opportunities her job provides. She has been with the Springdale company for three years and began her tenure with parent company H.C. Schmieding in early 1997.
Hall has worked on several H.C. Schmieding developments and corporations. But she cites her career highlight as her assistance in establishing the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education. Within that project, Hall was pivotal in developing and implementing new computer systems and programming applications.
Hall was born and reared in Rogers, where she still resides. In 1995, she obtained her accounting degree from the University of Arkansas. I was dragged kicking and screaming into accounting, she said, but I have enjoyed it so far.
In the future, Hall hopes to further her education by obtaining her certification as a financial planner. Opportunity has kept Hall within the Delp-Schmieding family thus far, and she plans to continue with the corporation.
Hall is a member of the Arkansas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
