Athletic World Advertising has leased the 30th floor at Tulsa’s CityPlex Towers, the tallest building in Oklahoma, for an expansion that will add 40 new sales positions there. It’s part of a plan to grow the Fayetteville firm’s sales from $16 million in 2002 to about $50 million by 2005.

President and CEO Gregg Ogden and his staff have set a goal of $20 million in sales for 2003.

AWA, founded in 1995, will keep its headquarters as well as about 230 employees in Fayetteville. But the Tulsa expansion will be operating within a month.

AWA also has an option to lease three other floors at CityPlex. Ogden said about 100 employees will be added in Tulsa in 2004 and another 100 by 2005.

Ogden said every 100 salespeople equate to about $15 million in sales for AWA.

CityPlex is located across the street from Oral Roberts University.
