Combs Parts Redi-Mix

J.B. Hunt and Tim Graham bought out Gary Combs’ one-third interest in Central Redi-Mix in late October.

The three had founded the concrete plant in north Springdale May 30. Since then, Combs’ wife, Carla Tyson Combs, has filed for divorce and Gary Combs is selling off many of their joint ventures.

In August, Combs sold 55 acres at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers he owned along with Carla Combs, Hunt and Bill Schwyhart. He also is selling his interest in the six-story Parkway Tower at Pinnacle Hills.

Combs is owner of Basic Construction and Basic Block Group in Springdale.

Clay Olden is general manager of Central Redi-Mix, which is building a new office at its current site on North Oak Road off Arkansas Highway 264 east.
