Entrepreneur magazine has included a Fayetteville company in a list of “113 low-cost businesses to start now” published in its October edition.
Care Northwest, located at 21 West Mountain St., offers franchise opportunities nationwide under the name ELDirect Homecare. According to Entrepreneur, the non-medical in-home care franchise can be started for as little as $21,900 including the $15,000 franchise fee. Franchises also pay 5 percent in royalties and can the agreement can be renewed after 10 years at less cost.
The company, which started in 1996 and began offering franchises this year, provides training, marketing and other support, including Internet and purchasing cooperatives. Information on the company can be found on the magazine’s Web site under senior care.
