Signal Us If You See …

Signal Hill Partners, the former El Granada, Calif., venture capital firm that in February moved its headquarters to Rogers, has pulled out of the market. Mark Nydam, its managing director, said the company hoped to be a $25 million-$50 million competitor to Diamond State Ventures in Little Rock and Fayetteville.

But we haven’t seen or heard hide nor hair out of Signal Hill in months. In fact, both local phone numbers we have the company have been disconnected.

We tried to contact the company at its California number, and an answering machine told us it was too full of messages to take any more.

Although Signal Hill was supposed to focus on technology investments, the good news is several other avenues for funding blossomed this year.
