Citing personal reasons, Kenneth R. Shemin resigned from Kutak Rock LLP on July 24.

Shemin, a partner in the firm’s Fayetteville office, joined Kutak in March after working as a sole practitioner for five years and has conducted litigation practice for more than 23 years.

Shemin cited his time at Kutak Rock as being “one of the high points of my legal career,” and said he has the utmost respect for his colleagues.

Jeffrey Gearhart, a partner at the firm’s Little Rock office said the firm is sorry to see Shemin leave.

“Ken’s a great lawyer and we certainly hate to lose him, but we respect his decision to move on,” Gearhart said.

The firm specializes in a number of areas of law including corporate and finance, litigation, real estate, health care, banking, insurance and technology.

Kutak Rock LLP employs more than 300 lawyers in 16 cities including Little Rock and Fayetteville, where the firm recently relocated to a suite in the Three Sisters building on Dickson Street.
