Law Firm Heads Out For Now
Head, Johnson & Kachigian, the patent law firm, is downsizing its Fayetteville office.
“This office has been breaking even for the past couple of years,” said Allen Bennett, a patent agent with HJK. “With the downsizing of the economy, we haven’t been doing that well.”
Bennett will move to the firm’s main office in Tulsa, but he will travel to Fayetteville when necessary. Randy Head will remain in Fayetteville to serve as a patent searcher for HJK. Robert Keegan will remain in Fayetteville and serve as counsel to the company.
HJK will put its 2,000-SF house 323 W. Spring St. up for sale, and Head will rent an office probably near the downtown Fayetteville square. Bennett said the company will probably vacate its current building by the end of August.
