Dixie Management Co. and other investors have purchased the building that houses Northwest Arkansas’ largest advertising agency.

ThompsonMurray is located just south of Springdale Country Club on Lakeview Drive and behind Lone Star Steak House.

Dixie Management consists of owners Ben and Nancy Israel of Fayetteville. The other investors include Phil Phillips and Gerald Johnston of Springdale and John Chambers of Danville.

The 17,000-SF building will be leased back to ThompsonMurray. An additional 25,000 SF is under construction. The new addition will be ready for occupancy in 6-8 months.

The total project — the purchase of the existing building and the new addition — will be about $6.11 million.

Nabholz Construction Corp. of Rogers is the general contractor.

Andy Murray is chairman and CEO of ThompsonMurray. He said the addition will help the company house about 75 employees.

Also, about 6,000 SF will be dedicated to display and mock-up facilities for ThompsonMurray. A state-of-the-art theater will be designed to hold 150 people. The new building also will be equipped with an employee exercise room and a kitchen/break room.

The original building was about a $2.5 million project.
