The owners of Guido’s Pizza in Tontitown are opening two new locations, one in Fayetteville and one in Springdale.

Dennis Bariola and Mark Zulpo, who are brothers-in-law, own the Tontitown Guido’s, which has been in operation for the past eight years.

Dennis Bariola will be a partner with his son, Mark Bariola, in the Guido’s planned for Fayetteville. Mark and Paula Zulpo will partner with Tommy and Denise Bariola in the Springdale restaurant. Tommy Bariola is Dennis Bariola’s brother.

“We just kind of kept it in the family,” Mark Zulpo said.

Construction is nearing completion on the Guido’s on South Thompson Street in Springdale, which will probably open in late June, Zulpo said. That restaurant will be 4,400 SF and will seat 120 diners.

Mike Anderson, an engineer with Engineering Design Associates of Springdale, submitted a large-scale development plan on April 22 to the Fayetteville Planning Commission to build the Guido’s on Steamboat Drive off Wedington Drive.

Dennis Bariola said he plans to start construction by June 1 and finish within four months. He said the restaurant, which will be about 3,900 SF in size, will also seat 120 diners, 34 more than the Tontitown Guido’s.
