Tusk’s Bottling Co., which opened in October at 200 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville, closed in April.

The restaurant and bar served pizza prepared next door at U.S. Pizza Co. as well as sandwiches and other items made in Tusk’s kitchen. U.S. Pizza owns the 7,200-SF building. (Tusk’s occupied about 4,200 SF of that space.) U.S. Pizza has nine restaurants: eight in Little Rock and one in Fayetteville.

Tusk’s was owned by Jim Oliver and Ira Coker.

The building was constructed in 1937 and served from then until 1964 as home to Fayetteville Ice Co., a Coca-Cola Bottling Co. facility owned by the family of former U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright.
