Thanks Again, Nolan

New UA basketball coach Stan Heath has a lot of work to do to restore the program’s tarnished reputation thanks to the recently fired Nolan Richardson.

Aside from the disparaging comments Richardson has taken to the national media concerning Arkansas and particularly Broyles, the basketball program’s pathetic graduation rate during the Richardson era will be the butt of jokes until a change comes.

Dan Patrick, host of his own ESPN radio show, was discussing the NBA playoffs with NBC analyst Tom Tolbert when the subject of a former University of Cincinnati player came up. Tolbert poked fun of Cincinnati’s academic standards for its players. But Patrick chimed in with, “No, it’s Arkansas where you don’t have to worry about graduating.”

Ouch!
