We’re under the impression former Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball Coach Nolan Richardson doesn’t think much of Northwest Arkansas, so we decided to see how much money he has invested in land in a state that he says is full of “redneck SOBs.”

According to Washington County real estate records, Richardson’s ranch on Hughmont Road was valued at $237,650 in 2001. That’s split between two addresses and includes 29.9 acres and a house.

Richardson also owns a house valued at $230,000 at Fayetteville’s Paradise Valley subdivision and a lot that appraised for $48,000 at Riverlyn Estates in Goshen.

In addition, he owns another 114 acres of land in the county valued at $40,000.

That’s a grand total of $555,650 in appraised real estate value.
