Deb Holmquest recently opened the first Arkansas franchise of The Great Frame Up, a custom-framing store owned by Franchise Concepts Inc. of Houston. Located in a 2,500-SF shop in Springdale, The Great Frame Up stocks pre-framed prints and offers framing service with an average 10-day turnaround on orders.
The Great Frame Up also features computer access to more than 45,000 works of art so customers can order specific prints.
Although Holmquest wouldn’t disclose her franchise fee, she said it included two weeks of training through Franchise Concepts. She said she also worked in an unnamed, local framing shop for a few months before purchasing the franchise.
