Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant opened Jan. 17 in the building at 1673 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville that previously housed The Dome Bar & Grill, which closed in December.
The restaurant is owned by Gabriela Gonzalez and Edwardo Siqueiros. Gonzalez previously served for two years as manager of El Toro Mexican Restaurant in Springdale.
We noticed, however, that the restaurant was closed Jan. 29 and 30 with no sign of explanation on the doors.
Siqueiros said Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant can seat about 100 diners. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Lunch entrées range from $3-$5. The 22 combination meals available for dinner range in price from $6.25-$6.75.
