Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale declared a quarterly dividend on its stock at its quarterly board meeting.

The dividend of Class A common stock was announced at 4 cents per share and on Class B common stock of 3.6 cents per share. The dividends will be payable March 15.

Tyson shares enjoyed a bit of a surge over the holidays. It closed at $10.30 per share Dec. 20, but closed Dec. 28 at $11.39 per share.
