Sells/Clark Inc. — the Little Rock advertising, marketing and public relations agency — is opening a Fayetteville office to service its growing number of Northwest Arkansas accounts. The firm most recently landed the Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission’s marketing and communications plan for 2002.

That account comes with a $300,000 budget.

Sells/Clark, with annual billings of more than $10 million, has leased an office in the Bank of America Plaza building on the downtown Fayetteville square where it will open for business on Feb. 1. Brian Clark, the firm’s president, said plans for staffing the Fayetteville office are still in the works. But Sells/Clark’s existing Northwest Arkansas accounts also include Wal-Mart Realty and Arvest Bank in Rogers.

The Fayetteville A&P Commission was apparently wowed by Sells/Clark’s experience in tourism. The ad agency handled the Bentonville A&P Commission’s marketing from 1996-1999. It was also recently selected to manage advertising and public relations for Riverfest in central Arkansas and has represented Bailey Bluff in Many, La., Bailey Corp. in Little Rock, Big Creek Golf & Country Club at Mountain Home, Fairfield Communities at Little Rock and the “Pick-Up Arkansas” anti-litter campaign for Georgia-Pacific Corp.
