On the Border Slated for Scottsdale

Brinker International Inc. plans to build an On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina in Rogers’ Scottsdale Center, said Tom Hopper, the developer of Scottsdale Center.
Construction is scheduled to begin about Jan. 1 and should be completed in four months.
Hopper said the new restaurant will be in front of the Malco Theater at the site.
Dallas-based Brinker has more than 1,100 restaurants, including Chili’s Grill & Bar, Chili’s Too, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Cozymel’s Coastal Mexican Grill, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Corner Bakery Café, Big Bowl, Rockfish Seafood Grill and eatZi’s Market & Bakery.
Brinker already has a Chili’s at Scottsdale Center.
