Wilhite & Wall Win CMA Award

Darren Wilhite and Tim Wall, KKIX 104 radio’s morning team known as Wilhite & Wall, won the Country Music Association’s Broadcast Personality of the Year award in the small market category. Award winners are selected in four categories depending on market size according to Arbitron ratings.
The duo won the same honor in 1992 when they worked for KIVK radio in Knoxville, Tenn.
The 35th annual CMA awards will be presented Nov. 7 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn. The awards show will be telecast live on the CBS Television Network.
