Hart and Haynes Buys Thomas Land

Bill Schwyhart and Collins Haynes of Hart & Haynes LLC on June 19 secured a loan of $4.81 million from Great Southern Bank of Springfield, Mo., to buy more acreage in the Pinnacle Hills development in west Rogers.

The 25-acre tract of land, formerly known as the Thomas property, is located just north of Pinnacle Point Tower. Hart & Haynes have already entered into a lease agreement for the land, but has not released the name of the business.

Meadowlands Expansion Continues With L&E Equity

Kirk Elsass and John David Lindsey of L&E Equity Investments on July 25 got a loan of $1 million from Arvest McIlroy Bank to build eight more houses in a Fayetteville subdivision.

Meadowlands subdivision, owned by Hayden McIlroy of Dallas, is located west of Ozarks Electric in west Fayetteville.

L&E will build four-bedroom homes at Meadowlands ranging from 1,900-2,000 SF.

Lake Hills Baptist Eyes New Home

Lake Hills Baptist Church on Aug. 17 purchased a building permit valued at $986,000 to build a new church in northeast Fayetteville.

The church, led by pastor John Allen, has been holding its services each Sunday at Vandergriff Elementary School. The new home will be at 2828 N. Crossover Road, just south of the Williams Dance and Gymnastics Center and north of Candlewood subdivision.

Lake Hills Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist churches.

Lowell Church to Get New Building, Addition

First Baptist Church of Lowell on July 13 got a loan of $950,000 from Arvest Bank to add 20,000 SF to its existing facilities.

The church, with more than 1,000 members, is located at 407 Johnson Ave. in Lowell. Gary Thomas is the pastor.

Buildings Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor on both a 10,000-SF addition and a new 10,000-SF building. The addition will be used for Sunday school classes ranging from the nursery through sixth grade. The new building will be the fellowship hall. The church is hoping to be in the new facilities by January.

Commerce Centre to Add Final Building

Commerce Plaza LLC — consisting of Mark Marquess, Rick McCullough, Dan Dykema, Collins Haynes and Vic Evans — on July 9 secured a loan of $900,000 from Great Southern Bank of Springfield, Mo., for another office building in Bentonville.

The 10,000-SF building will be the final of about a dozen buildings at Commerce Centre, where there is more than 200,000 SF of office space in a project that began about three years ago. Commerce Centre is located at U.S. Highway 71 business and Arkansas Highway 102. The final building will be just south of the new Bentonville Post Office.

Ruby Tuesday, Burger King and Village Inn restaurants are also at the complex.

Dixie Development Continues North Fayetteville Construction

Ben Israel of Joyce Street LLC recently purchased two more building permits valued at a total of $847,689 for Fayetteville’s Commerce Park.

The permits are for the completion of construction on two of Commerce Park’s four buildings. A 20,500-SF building located at 2153 E. Joyce Boulevard should be completed by Jan. 1. One of the new permits was for a two-story building that will lease the first floor to the Social Security Administration. Its address will be 2153 E. Joyce Blvd. The other new permit will be for the building at 3733 N. Business Drive.

Among tenants already planning to reside at Commerce Park are the Bodiford Eye Clinic and Surgery Center of Fort Smith, Northwest Health Clinic, Dr. Tonya Smith (a dentist) and Hometown Financial.

Commerce Park will have a total of 70,000 SF located just west of Paradise Valley Athletic Club at the intersection of Joyce Boulevard and Old Missouri Road.

Nabholz Construction Corp. of Rogers is the general contractor on all of the Commerce Park buildings. Atkins Benham Inc. of Lowell is the architectural firm for for the project.

Other investors with Israel at Commerce Park include Joe Kleine, B.W. Dykes, Dr. David Cannon and Owen Bushaw.

Israel is also planning to break ground this month on phase II of Signature Square, five acres located east of Commerce Park on the north side of Joyce Boulevard. Dixie Construction will build four 10,000-SF commercial buildings with a unique, lease-to-own plan for tenants.

Brock’s Inc. Stays Busy With Multiple Projects

Gregory and Russell Brockman of Brock’s Inc. in Farmington recently purchased three building permits valued at a total of $740,000 for additions to a Fayetteville subdivision.

The homes will be located at 2926, 2978 and 3077 N. Dorchester Road in the Quail Creek subdivision south of North Hills Medical Park. The homes will range between about 2,900-3,150 SF.

Brock’s Inc. also got three loans for a total of $525,000 from First State Bank of Lonoke for three future homes in the same area.

On July 2, Brock’s Inc. got a $1.46 million loan from Arvest McIlroy Bank for development in Fayetteville’s University Acres. On July 9, Brock’s Inc. secured an $878,000 loan from First State Bank for development at 120 Southwinds Drive in Farmington.

Sandstone Subdivision Benefitting from RVH

River Valley Homes of Springdale on July 13 got 10 loans totaling $636,785 from Bank of Rogers to build more homes at an east Rogers subdivision.

Sandstone subdivision is located off Monte Ne Road. Homes there range between 1,000 and 1,300 SF in size.

RVH also purchased five more building permits totaling $372,708 for future homes at Sandstone.

Faith Christian Adds to Facilities

Faith Christian Fellowship on July 27 got a loan of $425,000 from Arvest Bank of Rogers to begin the first phase of a new multi-purpose facility.

Faith Christian Fellowship, located at 1221 E. New Hope Road in Rogers, has a membership of about 200.

It plans to purchase a metal building and eventually renovating it into a 7,200-SF facility that will serve as children’s classrooms, a fellowship hall and a youth area.
