One and a half months after finishing her residency, Dr. Brooke Bisbee opened Family Foot Health Center in Rogers.
During her first week of business, Bisbee tended to 25 patients. She said a steady pace of 60 patients per week would be ideal.
Most of her target clientele will be seniors, diabetics and athletes with sports-related conditions. However, the clinic will be equipped to treat anyone, Bisbee said, including the occasional pediatric patient.
The 1,100-SF Family Foot Health Center has two treatment rooms and X-ray capabilities, but Bisbee will perform outpatient surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers and Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University and Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Bisbee opened her clinic in Northwest Arkansas because she spent her childhood here.
“I’ve always considered Rogers home,” Bisbee said.
The doctor’s father owns Valley Homes Inc. in Rogers, and the pair renovated the office space together. Bisbee estimated her initial costs totaled about $60,000.
