The Harvey and Bernice Jones Center for Families honored the Tyson Foundation recently for its contributions, including a $1 million pledge in 1998.
Guests at the ceremony included representatives of The Jones Center for Families — Bernice Jones, founder and trustee; Joel Carver, trustee and CEO; Dan Ferritor, trustee; Don Tyson, senior chairman; and John Tyson, chairman, president and CEO.
The ceremony included the unveiling of a “Heart of the Community” display honoring the Tyson Foundation.
The Tyson Foundation’s 1998 contribution was ear marked for the education department of the Jones Center. The donation is being paid in $200,000 installments annually.
