Charlton Plans More Bentonville Development
John and Michael Charlton of Charlton Development Co. secured a $660,000 loan Oct. 3 from the Bank of Bentonville to purchase a Bentonville farm for future residential additions on two nearby subdivisions.
Charlton Development is building both the Brightwood and Wildwood subdivisions on Bright Road about a mile and a half from Rainbow Curve.
The Brightwood subdivision, on the east side of Bright Road, will have 62 lots in Phase 2. Those houses, which are for sale, range from $110,000-$140,000 and will be a minimum of 1,600 SF.
The Wildwood subdivision, on the west side of Bright Road, will have 180 lots and will range from $140,000-$200,000, with a minimum of 2,000 SF. Phase 1 of Wildwood will have 71 lots. Those homes will be completed by spring.
Charlton purchased 120 acres for Brightwood from the Earl Bright Estates. The land for Wildwood was purchased from Jerry Jones.
