J. Frank Broyles is coming out of motivational speaking retirement.

He will be one of eight featured speakers March 1 at Tony Robbins’ Results 2000 motivational seminar in Little Rock along with retired Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf and Arkansas-born actress Mary Steenburgen. This is the first time in 20 years the University of Arkansas athletic director has contracted for a business motivational speaking engagement.

Broyles says he was simply impressed with the lineup of speakers and what the conference hopes to achieve — giving business people a competitive advantage and an extraordinary quality of life through motivation.

“I was impressed with the number of Arkansans they’re expecting to attend,” Broyles says. “I thought it would be a good chance to meet more of them and to speak about the Razorbacks.”

The seminar, which has its own website at www.results2000.net., is being held at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock.
