John Q. Hammons Hotels

Hotelier John Q. Hammons will build five new full-service upscale hotels this year. Construction of the 255-suite Embassy Suites Lincoln in Nebraska is already under way. Also planned are a 250-suite Embassy Suites Nashville in Franklin, Tenn.; a 330-room Renaissance Hotel Telecom Corridor in Richardson, Texas; a 250-suite Embassy Suites Outdoor World I-85 and Speedway Boulevard in Concord, N.C.; and an Embassy Suites in Albuquerque, N.M.

Hammons, based in Springfield, Mo., has developments in 40 states, including the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Springdale.
