Meet the Johnny Appleseed of Arkansas.

Actually, Dr. Brian Campbell is interested in much more than just apple seeds — he’s interested in all seeds.

Five years ago, this UCA professor started a program called Conserving Arkansas’ Cultural Heritage, which is a series of local workshops where experienced and novice gardeners and farmers can exchange “heirloom seeds.”

Heirloom seeds are seeds that have been cultivated through generations and can be preserved despite population or plant migration.
