Ed Ellis Joins Harrison Energy Partners

Little Rock-based Harrison Energy Partners hired Ed Ellis as a new project manager.

Ellis is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers. and has more than 35 years experience in the field of energy conservation.

Ellis’ responsibilities will include the development and implementation of commercial energy conservation projects.

Ellis most recently served as regional energy efficiency manager for the Arkansas Energy Office, where he coordinated and monitored the energy efficiency programs of both state agencies and higher education institutions.

He earned an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas in 1978 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Harrison Energy Partners, which touts itself as Arkansas’ largest provider of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, is a $35 million company originally founded in 1983 by Bill Harrison as Harrison Trane Service Company.  The company has locations in Little Rock, Springdale, Fort Smith and Texarkana and employs more than 125. Its primary services include Trane equipment sales, service, controls, parts and support.
