Amazeum Averaging Almost 1,700 Attendees Per Day
The Scott Family Amazeum had its public opening on July 15, and Molly Rawn said there were 30,172 visitors through Aug. 3, an average of 1,676 per day.
“Our highest attendance day was July 18, the first Saturday we were open,” said Rawn, the director of development and communications. “We saw more than 2,000 people.”
The Bentonville museum is closed on Tuesdays.
The Scott Family Amazeum offers memberships that can be purchased one per household. Rawn said the membership goal for this year was 3,500, and that goal has already been reached.
During the year, the Amazeum will be hosting school field trips and other events such as Tinkerfest, a one-day festival “for people ages 4 to 104” to explore technology with craftspeople and educators and learn from one another.
The Amazeum is open Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
