ACXIOM’S LIVERAMP FIRM HELPS FACEBOOK INTEGRATE OFFLINE SALES TRANSACTIONS
Acxiom announced on Tuesday (June 14) a new integration with Facebook that allows clients to connect advertising campaigns with offline sales transactions taking place in stores, branch offices, contact centers, and other brick-and-mortar locations. Building on existing capabilities to onboard offline first- and third-party data for targeting through Facebook Custom Audiences, Acxiom’s LiveRamp subsidiary can now enable clients to securely onboard their sales transaction data and perform closed-loop measurement analysis.
Acxiom said the enhanced integration makes it safe and easy for LiveRamp clients to activate their sales transaction data within Facebook. Acxiom’s LiveRamp office, located in San Francisco, was acquired by the Little Rock-based data analytics firm for $310 million in cash. The former privately-held company helps digital companies connect online and offline data to increase return on ad spend, conversion rates, and sales.
