Arvest Bank announced Monday (Dec. 14) that Arvest Asset Management is changing its name to Arvest Wealth Management and is adopting a new brand identity effective Jan. 1, 2016.

The changes reflect Arvest’s desire to have a name that better illustrates its lines of business – investments, retirement planning, insurance products and trust services – to customers and consumers, the company noted in a statement. The company will continue to operate in the same manner as before the change.

Arvest Asset Management employs more than 280 in the division, manages more than $9 billion in assets and operates through Arvest Bank’s network of 16 locally managed banks in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.

“Our new name reflects our commitment to work in our client’s best interest to help them build, manage and protect wealth with sound investment strategies,” Jim King, president and CEO of the subsidiary, said in the statement “We continue to take an innovative, client-oriented approach that provides focus and continuity to every aspect of a financial plan, and we are committed to making investing easy, convenient and accessible to anyone. Arvest’s mission statement is ‘People helping people find financial solutions for life.’ That mission applies to what we do every day at Arvest Asset Management and won’t change when we become Arvest Wealth Management.”

Arvest Wealth Management will maintain its structure with Arvest Trust, a division of Arvest Bank serving more than 3,100 customers, and two subsidiaries of Arvest Bank: Arvest Investments, Inc. with approximately 30,000 customers and Arvest Insurance, Inc. with more than 1,500 customers.
