Simmons First Names New General Counsel

Simmons First National Corp. recently announced the addition of Patrick A. Burrow as Executive Vice President and General Counsel according to Chairman and CEO George Makris.

“I am extremely excited to announce the addition of Pat to the staff at Simmons First National Corporation. Pat has been a tremendous asset to our company for many years as our lead outside counsel and has guided us through our most recent acquisitions,” said Makris.

Burrow brings more than 36 years of legal experience to Simmons First and is licensed in both Arkansas and Tennessee.

Burrow received his undergraduate degree in political science and mathematics at the University of Central Arkansas. He attended Vanderbilt University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate degree and holds an LL.M degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
