September 22, 2015. The annual Pink Ribbon Luncheon will be hosted by the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen on Friday, October 2 at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center in Springdale at 11:30 a.m. Doors and silent auction will open at 10:45 a.m. The luncheon is presented by The Breast Center, a Mana Clinic as an opportunity to educate women about breast self-awareness, to celebrate survivorship and kick off October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The event will be kicked off with a performance by Miss Arkansas Loren McDaniel and will also feature a silent auction, fashion show, crowning of the top Komen Ozark BigWig and a survivor tribute. Local breast cancer survivors will model fall fashions from Town & Country and footwear donated by Skechers. Tickets are $50 per individual or $500 per table and may be purchased online at www.komenozark.org or by calling 479-750-7465.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate to help fund local breast health programs that provide education, screening and treatment services to those in need.
