1st Annual Arkansas Historic Film Prize Competition

The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History will host a showing of the winners of the first annual Arkansas Historic Film Prize competition for high school students, Tuesday, September 8, at 6:30 p.m. The contest, sponsored by the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, the Arkansas Humanities Council and the Arkansas Educational Television Network, gave students the opportunity to create a short documentary about historic sites across the state.

Films to be shown include Headquarters House by Darcy Olmstead, Caroline Wetsell and Maggie Bell of Fayetteville High School; Battle of Prairie Grove by Austin Chitmon and Chanse Harp of Bentonville High School; and History of FHS by Kelton McCarthy, Zaid Martinez and Andrew Trice of Fayetteville High School.
