Drum Corp International Coming to Northwest Arkansas

The Bentonville Bands Program will be hosting NWA Music on the Move, a local performance and competition on the Drum Corp International (DCI) 2015 Summer Tour. The annual Drum Corps International Tour is made up of more than 100 events throughout North America where band compete to win the coveted top ranking. Each summer more than 400,000 fans attend live drum corps events that feature the best marching band students from more than 15 countries. The Bentonville competition will feature 2014’s #1 top-ranked Blue Devils corps as well as nine other band corps.
The U.S. based Drum Corps International delivers the message of “excellence in performance and in life” to more than 7.2 million young people, ages 13-22 involved in performing arts in the United States through DCI sponsored marching band competitions.
DCI’s Bentonville performance will take place July 14th at 7:00 p.m. at Bentonville High School’s Tiger Stadium. This event will raise funds for the Bentonville Bands programs that supports music education for grades 6-12. Visit www.DCI.org for tickets and information.
