RED, a play about Mark Rothko, comes to Crystal Bridges, performed by local theater artist Mark Landon Smith. RED weaves through the challenges and triumphs in Rothko’s studio during the artist’s two-year struggle to complete a set of murals for Manhattan’s Four Seasons restaurant.
