Las Faygas Texas Hold’em Tournament & Casino Night
The C.A.R.E Initiative, a local nonprofit organization composed of employees of Saatchi & Saatchi X, has spent the last eleven years working to ensure local nonprofit agencies have the support they need to continue to serve the children and families of Northwest Arkansas.
Their third annual Texas Hold’em tournament and casino night, which is open to the public, is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. on August 15, 2014, at Mermaids Seafood Restaurant in Fayetteville. Last year, the C.A.R.E. Initiative raised over $26,000 at the event which helped the organization provide an $8,000 grant to the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, a $15,000 grant to the Children’s Safety Center, and a $13,500 grant to EOA Children’s House. The goal is to raise at least $30,000 this year.
