Beebe names 35 to state boards and commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe on Monday (April 7) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

John Beachboard, Little Rock, to the Public Health Advisory Board. Appointment expires Nov. 1, 2017. Replaces Sam Culpepper.

Carol Bevis, Cabot, reappointed to the Arkansas Public Employees' Retirement System Board of Trustees. Appointment expires March 9, 2018.

Raul Blasini, Pocahontas, reappointed to the Arkansas Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 31, 2016.

Jana Brady, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques. Appointment expires July 31, 2015. Replaces Mark Arouh.

Mike Carter, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas-Oklahoma River Compact Commission. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2018.

Jim Clifton, Corning, to the Clay County Quorum Court, District 8. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014.

Kari Coffman, Barling, reappointed to the Arkansas HIV/AIDS Minority Task Force. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2018.

Rhonda Davis, Clinton, reappointed to the Old State House Commission. Appointment expires March 19, 2023.

Glen Glover, El Dorado, reappointed to the State Rehabilitation Council. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2017.

Phyllis Gordon, Morrilton, to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2017. Replaces Bood Keathley.

Gary Griffis, El Dorado, Southern Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2016. Replaces Sam Chamberlin.

Sally Hardin, Booneville, reappointed to the Board of Developmental Disabilities Services. Appointment expires Jan. 15, 2021.

Kaki Hockersmith, Little Rock, to the Governor's Mansion Advisory Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. This is a new position.

Lynn Houston, Forrest City, to the Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute Board of Trustees. Appointment expires June 30, 2016. Replaces Joe Williams.

Hugh Keller, Jr., Lonoke, to the Lonoke County Quorum Court, District 7. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014. Replaces Adam Simms.

Dr. Daniel Kissinger, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Appointment expires Dec. 1, 2016. Replaces Dr. Dana Thompson.

Randy Laverty, Jasper, to the Board of Developmental Disabilities Services. Appointment expires Jan. 15, 2018. Replaces Robert James.

Dr. Carmen Paniagua, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 31, 2016.

Christopher Paslay, Brookland, to the State Rehabilitation Council. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2017. Replaces Mike McCreight.
