Springdale-based Community Clinic and the Rogers Public School District have partnered to open a medical and behavioral healthcare clinic at Rogers Heritage High School. The clinic will offer primary and urgent care, and behavioral health services to the community at large.

Community Clinic said the Rogers clinic will be the first of two to offer the behavioral health services amid the provider’s mission and commitment to whole-person care.

This marks the first time that behavioral health services have been offered in an in-school location. Community Clinic operates medical care clinics in 14 schools Northwest Arkansas, including Pea Ridge High School, Fayetteville High School, Central High School located in Huntsville, and the new Rogers site.

When asked about the investment for this venture, Community Clinic provided the following emailed statement: “Our focus is on optimizing and enhancing the experience for patients — investing in updated equipment, staffing, and expanding a range of services to create a whole person care experience. That includes introducing behavioral health that is easily accessible to students. While an exact dollar investment is not known at this time, Community Clinic will be investing in people, programs, and services that align with accessible healthcare for families and students.”

The new clinic will have six full-time employees, with support from other operations in the Community Clinic system. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting the health of the community, according to Judd Semingson, president and CEO of Community Clinic.

“This partnership is a great example of what Community Clinic is all about — showing up for people right where they are,” Semingson said. “At Rogers Heritage, that means bringing not just primary and urgent care, but mental health support, into a place families already know and trust. We’re proud to stand alongside Rogers School District in this work.”

The clinic will open to the public on Monday, July 27, with an open house slated for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 29.

“We are extremely excited about the partnership we have created with Community Clinic,” Dr. Jeff Perry, superintendent of Rogers Public Schools. “We believe this clinic will be a tremendous and valuable resource for our students, staff, and the broader community. Having a clinic within our district will provide greater access to quality healthcare and is one more way Rogers Public Schools can help meet the needs of the community we serve.”
