Dope Medicinal Wellness opens Fayetteville clinic
Dope Medicinal Wellness recently opened a 1,000-square-foot clinic at 620 N. College Ave., Suite 102, in Fayetteville. Montana native Dr. Sandra Bailey, an obstetrician-gynecologist with more than 25 years of experience, is the founder.
Dope Medicinal Wellness helps patients obtain a medical marijuana card while emphasizing education, personal care and overall wellness.
“Medical cannabis can be life-changing for patients managing chronic pain, PTSD or other qualifying conditions,” Bailey said. “At Dope Medicinal, our focus is on compassionate care and helping patients make informed, confident decisions about their health.”
Bailey invested $40,000 to open the new clinic. It will start with in-person visits and expand to include telehealth appointments for new certifications and renewals in the coming year.
Scott Hardin, spokesman for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, recently said 2025 medical marijuana sales are expected to exceed the previous annual record of $283 million in 2023. From Jan. 1 to Oct. 31, Arkansans spent more than $240.9 million on medical marijuana, up 5.75% from $227.8 million in the same period in 2024.
As of Nov. 29, the state had 112,591 active patient cards, according to the Arkansas Department of Health.
Dope Medicinal Wellness aims to reduce the stigma of cannabis while expanding access for those who might benefit from its use. Originally based in Montana, the Bailey family splits time between Montana and Fayetteville. On the weeks the clinic is open, walk-ins are accepted. The clinic has one full-time and two part-time staff.
