LISA Academy opens new school in Rogers

A new 75,000-square-foot charter school opened Aug. 12 with 545 students. Little Rock-based charter school organization LISA Academy recently hosted an opening ceremony for the new middle and high school facility at 592 S. Horsebarn Road in Rogers.

LISA Academy Rogers-Bentonville now serves students in grades 6-12.

“LISA Academy Rogers-Bentonville distinguishes itself through its rigorous STEM-C curriculum, emphasizing science, technology, engineering, mathematics and computing,” according to a news release. “Students engage in hands-on learning experiences that foster critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills essential for 21st-century careers.”

Following are the new campus features:
● Advanced science and technology laboratories
● Collaborative learning spaces designed for project-based instruction
● Modern engineering labs equipped with the latest technology
● Flexible classrooms that support innovative teaching methods
● Full-sized gymnasium for athletic competitions.

According to the release, the schools’ college preparatory pathways “ensure students are academically prepared and competitive for admission to top colleges and universities. Through advanced coursework, individualized support, and comprehensive guidance, LISA Academy students develop the knowledge and skills needed to excel in higher education.”

According to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s charter schools list, enrollment at Lisa Academy locations across Northwest Arkansas rose to 1,507 in fall 2025 from 1,370 in fall 2024. The enrollment is up 42.8% from 1,055 in fall 2023.
