Harvest Group acquires Bold Strategies

Rogers-based Harvest Group, a national integrated commerce agency, has acquired Rogers-based e-commerce marketing firm Bold Strategies, a company founded in 2017. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to the company, the acquisition expands Harvest Group’s marketing and digital commerce capabilities and increases its managed media spend by 20%.

“Our customers consistently tell us they need a unified approach to navigate today’s complex retail landscape,” said Ross Cully, founder and CEO of Harvest Group. “Bold’s impressive capabilities perfectly complement our expertise. Together, we’ll offer what our clients have been asking for – a truly integrated partner across media and commerce.”

According to the company, Harvest Group is one of two managed service providers with API partners with the top five retail media networks. Founded in 2006, Harvest Group is a commerce agency that helps consumer packaged goods brands grow. The company uses technology to drive growth for brands at retailers such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Amazon, Costco, and Kroger, as well as across retail media and social platforms.

“We’re now positioned to offer an unparalleled suite of services, enabling a unified go-to-market solution across retail media, creative, shopper marketing and DTC (direct to consumer),” said Ashley Knight, chief operating officer of Harvest Group.

Following the acquisition, Harvest Group has 350 employees.

In 2023, Bold’s revenue rose to $6.5 million, up 32% from 2022. Bold Strategies was the fastest-growing company in Arkansas, according to the 2021 Inc. 5000 list. Ranked at No. 259, the company had a three-year growth rate of 1,781% from 2017 to 2020. Bold Strategies also made the 2022 list at No. 874, with its revenue rising by 727% from 2018 to 2021.
