Legacy National Bank opens 2nd Bentonville branch
Springdale-based Legacy National Bank announced the opening of a new Bentonville branch on Monday (Nov. 6).
According to a news release, the downtown office is in leased space on the first floor of the three-story building at 107 N.W. Second St. next to Flying Fish. The bank has dubbed the new branch “Legacy Landing.”
“Legacy Landing offers a different banking experience compared to other Legacy National Bank branches,” CEO Patrick Swope said. “In our early discussions of how we could deliver an innovative experience for customers, we knew our approach and branding would have to be different. So we focused on creating a comfortable space — one that people would want to do business in and hang out in.”
Swope said customers can expect an unconventional yet traditional banking experience at Legacy Landing.
“The name of this branch may be a little different, but it will still offer everything customers expect from Legacy Bank,” he said. “And we anticipate Legacy Landing customers will help us redefine banking relationship dynamics so we can accomplish even more.”
The branch will feature interactive teller machines (ITM) for a wide range of banking services, including live teller interactions.
Additional amenities at Legacy Landing include e-bikes, conference rooms, a beverage bar and lounge space.
Legacy launched in 2005 and has 11 locations in Benton and Washington counties. The company opened its first Bentonville office in 2018 at the southwest corner of Walton Boulevard and Southwest 28th Street.
According to the latest data available from the FDIC, Legacy National Bank had $962.4 million in assets as of June 30.
