West of Memphis screening, discussion set for the MovieLounge
The MovieLounge, in conjunction with The Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, will host on Feb. 8 the regional premier screening of the movie, West of Memphis.
The movie tells story of the West Memphis 3, accompanied by a panel discussion with attorneys who worked the related cases.
The Movie Lounge and The Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers will host a panel discussion entitled “Consequences of Wrongful Convictions.” The panel includes Arkansas Attorneys at Law Patrick Benca, Blake Hendrix, Jeff Rosenzweig, and Deborah Sallings. Application has been made for 3.25 hours of continuing legal education credits.
The panel discussion will be held at 6:15 p.m., Feb. 8, at the MovieLounge in Fort Smith. The panel discussion in free.

Written and directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Amy Berg, produced by first time filmmakers Damien Echols and Lorri Davis and the multiple Academy Award-winning team of Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh.
