Washington Regional named consumer choice winner
For the 10th consecutive year, National Research Corporation has recognized Washington Regional Medical Center as one of the nation’s top hospitals as a Consumer Choice Award winner. The award identifies hospitals whose consumers have recognized them for providing the highest quality healthcare.
“We are extremely pleased to be named the top hospital in Northwest Arkansas year after year by people in the communities we serve,” Bill Bradley, Washington Regional president and CEO, said in a statement. “Being consistently chosen for this award underscores the confidence our patients have in the care they receive at Washington Regional and recognizes our professionals in their efforts to provide the highest level of quality care.”
The winning hospitals are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in the company’s Market Insights/Ticker survey. This independent study surveys more than 250,000 households representing over 450,000 consumers in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia.
From the households surveyed, 3,200 hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on their Core Based Statistical Areas as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with the winning facilities being ranked the highest.
National Research Corporation’s Market Insights/Ticker survey is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. No other study used to measure hospital performance and preferences contains more consumer responses.
