The Presidential Search Committee is tentatively scheduled to meet on Oct. 4 and 5 to review candidate applications. The search committee is chaired by Randy Lawson, a member of NWACC’s Board of Trustees.

The salary range for the position falls between $141,461 up to $176,826, according to Steven Hinds, executive director of public relations.

Paneitz earns an annual salary of $176,000.

The NWACC Board of Trustees is working with Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) to manage the nationwide search process, including developing recruitment strategies, assisting with the review and screenings of applicants, and coordinating interviews and site visits. The cost for the consulting firm is being paid with unrestricted, undesignated funds from the NWACC Foundation.

Paneitz led the college during a time of tremendous growth and development, helping make it one of the largest and most effective community colleges in Arkansas and the country. Credit enrollment at the time she became president was 4,915, and credit enrollment today is at 8,418. Another 6,000 students, including adult education, are enrolled in non-credit programs offered by the college.

In May 2012, NWACC graduated more than 1,100 students.
