Rogers garners top 10 ranking
Nestled in the heart of scenic Northwest Arkansas, Rogers is a wallet-friendly getaway in the Ozarks. The city recently made the top 10 list for affordable vacations by Liveability.com, an online resource that evaluates more than 500 of America’s best places to live, work, play and explore.
Rogers was ranked No. 10, the only Arkansas city on the list. Tulsa, Okla. ranked No. 6.
Home of the first Walmart Store, celebrating its 50th anniversary this July, Rogers was selected because it offers a blend of affordable shopping and outdoor activities at nearby Beaver Lake.
Rogers was selected because of its close proximity to both the University of Arkansas, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals – a double A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals – and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
