Lecture and book signing by Geshe Dakpa Topgyal to be held at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Giffel’s Auditorium in Old Main at 7 pm. Geshe Togyal is a renowned author and teacher of Tibetan Buddhism. This lecture is sponsored by the Students for Tibet and will focus on means of nonviolence creating a foundation of positive action in our world. Geshe Topgyal studied English as a child in India and attended the Drepung Monastic University where he received this Geshe (Doctorate of Religion and Philosophy) degree after 22 years of study.
