Grand Savings Bank plans new Gentry location, hires Fort Smith business development leader
Grand Savings Bank has purchased a new property at 104 N. Gentry Blvd. in Gentry. The location will replace the existing bank branch located at 101 S. Gentry Blvd.
The new six-acre location will provide more parking and wider drive-thru lanes for all of bank customers.
The Gentry Grand Savings Bank branch is the second oldest location in the bank’s network. It opened in May of 1980 as Decatur State Bank, which later merged with Grand Savings Bank in December 2014.
“As a community bank, we’re always looking for ways to invest in our communities,” said Guy Cable, President and CEO.
The bank also recently hired Gary Hamm as its new business development officer in Fort Smith location.
Hamm has 20 years of experience in the food service and consumer packaged goods industries. His professional areas of expertise include sales, management, marketing, acquisitions, and government relations.
“We’re proud to have Gary join the GSB family,” Cable said. “People bank with people, which is why we value team members like Gary who bring a customer-focused approach to work every day.”
Hamm, who lives in Bentonville, is a graduate of the Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration at the University of Arkansas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management.
Grand Savings Bank has 12 locations and 11 ATMs in Northwest Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma, and the River Valley.
