Bentonville pediatric firm planning new office building
Living Tree Pediatrics, a Bentonville practice, has received city approval to build a 10,200-square-foot medical office building on Southeast 30th Street, near the Mid-Cities Drive intersection. When it’s completed, the practice will relocate from its existing office nearby on the Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville campus.
Drs. Jeffrey Savage and Julie Tate own the practice, which they started in April 2016. They’re both on staff at NMC-Bentonville, an affiliate of Northwest Health.
“We’ve been planning for this [expansion], really, since we opened the practice,” Savage said. “It will give us a workflow that’s better for our staff and works better for our patients and their families.”
Savage said Living Tree sees patients from birth up through college-aged. The practice has 15 employees and the new building will provide more than twice the square footage of the existing practice.
“We have a fairly busy practice,” Savage said. “COVID has affected us to some degree but not to the extent that I think it has other businesses and even other practices.”
CEI Engineering Associates of Bentonville and BiLD Architects PLLC of Fayetteville are both working on the project. Savage said a builder hasn’t been determined, but he expects to break ground in the first quarter of 2021. Grand Savings Bank in Bentonville is financing construction.
Parah Pediatric Properties LLC, registered to Tate, bought the 1.7-acre lot in April 2018 for $516,000 ($6.96 per square foot).
