Ropeswing establishes meal subscription service

Ropeswing Hospitality Group in Bentonville recently launched a meal subscription service allowing customers to receive up to five home-delivered meals weekly from the Walton-backed organization’s restaurants amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those who order by 5 p.m. each Friday will receive the meals over the following Monday through Friday. Daily delivery, which is included, will be completed in a one-hour delivery window. Delivery radius is 20 miles from downtown Bentonville, but Ropeswing is working to expand that range, said Krista Cupp, communications director for Runway Group, an economic development organization that’s the parent company of Ropeswing.

“With Ropeswing’s new meal subscription service, we are helping Northwest Arkansas families through these challenging times,” said Kurt Berman, CEO of Ropeswing Hospitality Group. “Once signed up, customers receive delicious, family meals throughout the week, delivered from our restaurants to their doorsteps. This is also a great way for individuals or companies to help a neighbor, friend or colleague who may not be able to get out or afford meals for the week by subscribing on their behalf.”

The meals change weekly and are prepared by Ropeswing restaurants, including The Preacher’s Son, Pressroom and Louise. The meals are delivered to customers’ homes by Ropeswing employees who wear masks and gloves. Customers pay per week, and the price is based on the frequency of meals and the number of people per family. Three meals per week for two people is $90, and $150 for four people. Five meals per week for two people is $150 and $250 for four people.

“The meals are cooked and ready to eat,” Cupp said. “They just need to be placed in the oven to warm them. We took special care to be sure these meals could be refrigerated or frozen for future enjoyment. Heating instructions are included in each delivery order.”
